Napoleon said “The future destiny of the child is always the work of the mother” but the CSST Sisters did not accept this adage but took the responsibility to design the future of the poor child through their sponsorship programme and changed the destinies of the supported children which is helping them to climb the ladder of hope and success rung by rung with each passing year.  Today 47 semi urban and slum children are being sponsored.  This program accompanies a child from the age of 5 to 17 years of age. Thus a child receives support roughly for 10-12 years. Based on the aptitude of the student, one is encouraged in their studies. Today our sponsored children proudly say, “Through sponsorship programme we got schooling, independence and opportunity to serve without inheritance and look forward with unbounded hope”  Education has not only developed their character but made them persons of integrity which will help them to contribute to a fair society in future.
